CGC Presentation Night

Thanks to everyone who attended CGC's glittering night of nights.

Congratulations to all of our trophy winners of 2011.

As for the big raffle, you've got to be in it to win it, just ask Ivan Istuk, who almost wasn't in it at all. He was pursuaded by a very insistent Trasurer to make a last minute dash on Saturday and buy a ticket for the $10,000 draw.

Congratulations Ivan, spend it wisely!

4BBB Stableford

For the benefit of our newer members who may not be familiar with 4BBB Stableford, the method of play is thus:

Choose a partner.
On scorecard you are Player A & Player B
Each person plays the hole individually.
Only the higher stableford score of the two players is recorded in column A or B as appropriate for each hole.
The highest score after 18 holes is winning pair.

To speed up the game, you ought to pick up your ball once it is impossible to exceed your partner's stableford score.

Handicaps 2011

Golflink is coming to CGC......gradually.
If you have a Golflink handicap, then you are to play with your adjusted Golflink handicap at every CGC game. At conclusion of each game let our Captain know your current handicap, or provide computer printout for verification.  If you have  any questions, ask our Captain.
